From 70 year old vines (thus the "Tres Vieilles Vignes"), this is a soft, spicy, flavorfull Cotes du Rhone at an excellent price. Strong black pepper scents along with cherries and flowers and a Pinot Noir-like silky texture. A little short in the finish and lacking in grip, this is still a very good buy for an everyday red wine. - WB Team 2000-09-13
