A little crisper and less lush than some previous versions of this wine, but equally enjoyable. Has an excellent nose of red applies and citrus, reminiscent in some ways of a dry Riesling. Well balanced, nice finish, and like seemingly all Alsatian dry wines, an excellent food wine. - HK 2001-05-28
