Only 375 cases of this wine were made, using grapes from both Dry Creek and Russian River appellations. In common with some Turley Zins we've tried, this extremely high-alcohol wine tasted completely in balance and almost elegant in nature. There's probably a megaton of tannin in it, but there's so much soft, succulent chocolate-tinged cherry/blackberry fruit that it's barely noticeable. Good spiciness, round mouth feel, long finish. Fairly priced for the high quality level. - HK 2005-10-22
