Astonishingly good wine for the price - or for triple the price, for that matter. Using grapes from three different vineyards with different climatic conditions, this wine seems like an ideal combination of the assertive, pungent New Zealand style with a rounder, softer, more melon and fruit-inflected style. Deep, complex aromas of red grapefruit along with rich, underlying ripe apple, honeydew melon, and tropical fruit notes almost like a Chardonnay. Very crisp, clean, and precise feeling in the mouth. One of the best white wine values I've ever drunk. - HK 2011-09-28
