A welcome reminder of how delicious and food-friendly dry German Rieslings can be. Also a reminder that not all great German wines are Rheingaus or Mosels. This is a dry, beautifully balanced white wine with crystal clear definition of its fruit components: green apples, pears, citrus fruits, and a distant touch of honey. Elegant and seemingly delicate, yet was perfect with a fairly spicy Thai dish. We need to get some more wines like this in the Winebork inventory. - HK 2001-01-09
