Another dandy Zinfandel from this reliable winery. Elegantly styled and drinking well now, this wine, made from 85 year old vines, shows ripe Santa Rosa plum and raspberry fruit flavors, a round mouth feel, well controlled oak, and a clean if not extensive finish. Dry Creek Zins have always been fairly priced, and they seem to be widely available. Good buy. - WB exec team 2002-07-05
