Extremely spicy, fruity, forward nose. Nicely balanced, full bodied but firm and still with some positive evolution left. Not over-oaked nor ovely alcoholic, like a lot of "reserve" wines, but rather pure and elegant. Flavor profile includes excellent raspberry and dark cherry fruit. Added bonus: a beautiful label evoking the Arerica's Cup yacht race. - WB Team 2000-09-03
