WB Rating: 83
Alcohol by volume: 12.0%
Price at time of purchase: $8.50 (North Berkeley Wine Imports)

Heady nose of ripe cherry with some clove-like spice. Light-weight and uncomplicated but fruity in the mouth and finish. This is not intended to be a cerebral wine that needs to be swirled around in the mouth, but rather one to be guzzled and enjoyed for the considerable pleasure it offers. This wine goes down dangerously easily, and works very well chilled too. - HK 2002-10-04
