One of my favorite 2010 Pinot's, I'd rate this Fox Den only slightly behind the 2009. Big, rich, Pinot flavors filled with succulent cherry and raspberry fruit, as well as a complex mixture of toffee, cedar and smoke. Musky, earthy, floral nuances add to the intense fruit aromas that tweak the nose. Nicely balanced and long in the mouth and finish, yet very soft and slightly lacking in grip. This wine seems completely drinkable to me at this point, and not a wine to be laid down. - HK 2015-02-16

[  2016-02-13] My hesitancy about the ageworthiness of this wine has been proven wrong. This wine in early 2016 seems to have deepened, if anything, from the tasting a year or so ago. Rich, long, youthful, and with a few years to go.  User Rating: 91.
