Surprisingly good wine from this sometimes disappointing winery. Nicely balanced. Soft, earthy, tobacco-tinged kirsh-like flavors. One Winebork called it "surprisingly powerful for a winery that seems to focus more on holding weddings than on making great wine." Maybe that's too harsh a judgment based on this good effort. - WB Team 2000-10-04
