Soft and pleasant as a warm summer day. Jammy strawberries dominate the nose and flavors, but the acid balance keeps the wine from seeming sweet or cloying. Round in the mouth with a fruit-filled and fairly long finish. By no means a heroic Pinot Noir, but, like most Greenwood Ridge wines, this hits the mark in fruit and pleasure. - HK 2002-05-31
