Another remarkably good Pinot from a miserably cold year. Complex, forward nose of crushed black cherries and red raspberries, vanilla, an attractive musky, earthy edge, and an assertive resinous component. In the mouth more reticent, a little less interesting than in the aromas. But still round and velvety. Extremely pleasant Pinot, just not in the stratosphere like so many Hartford wines. - HK 2017-06-20
