From a vineyard close to 1000 feet in elevation, only three miles or so from the Pacific, near Sea Ranch. Drinking beautifully now, this full-bodied Pinot displays nicely focused red raspberry, pomegranate, and dark cherry fruit with a nice undertone of pine resin and underbrush. Beautifully balanced, its high alcohol content is completely hidden behind the ripe fruit flavors. In fact, the wine is quite elegant and not at all heavy-handed. Delicious Pinot. - HK 2015-06-19
