| 2001 Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay 20th Harvest Reserve|
WB Rating: 87
Alcohol by volume: 13.5%
Price at time of purchase: $14.00 (From winery.)
Principal varietal(s): Chardonnay
Tasted alongside the 2001 Vintner's Reserve, this wine had very similar aromatic and flavor profiles, though a bit more grip and interest-level than the Vintner's Reserve. Toasty oak, green apple, and an appealing cinammon-like spiciness are displayed in a mouth-filling format. Like virtually all K-J wines, excellent quality/price ratio. - WB team 2003-02-07
