Clean, refreshing take on Mendocino Sauvignon Blanc. Pleasantly tart but with enough fruit to sustain the acid. Uncomplicated flavors suggest honeydew melon and lemon. Not especially intense, but well balanced and good with food. Can surely be found discounted significantly from the $20 "retail" cost, and not a bad buy at under $15. At $20, a bit stiff for the quality level considering what can be purchased elsewhere at that price point. - HK 2014-01-24
