Sonoma County, California

The nose of this Costco brand wine is promising and has some energy, with lime, pear, peach, and a nice dose of spiciness. In the mouth and finish, though, it feels diluted, and relatively flat and uninteresting. The finish also fades quickly. A nice quaffer for the price, but definitely two levels below the quality of Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve, for example. - HK 2010-07-28
