A wonderfully priced Pinot Noir from WineAccess - well under the $40 retail price, which itself is not unreasonable. Soft and open-knit for such a young Pinot, super-smooth in the mouth and finish. Deep, perfumed red raspberry and dark cherry fruit along with some crunchy cranberry, pine sap, and loads of sweet spices. The structure was almost too soft to me - especially after the deep aromas - but that's a pretty flimsy complaint for a Pinot this flavorful and enjoyable. Absolutely ready to drink right now. Not sure about the ageability, but who cares? - HK 2014-05-01
