A most pleasant and easy-going Pinot, the entry level offering from Landmark. Fragrant aromas of cherry and black raspberry with a touch of spice and molasses. Smooth as silk, light on its feet, but with enough flavor authority to take it out of the "innocuous" mold. Has something of the mouth feel of a full-flavored Beaujolais, but with an obvious Pinot Noir character in the flavors. Fairly priced at $25, and you can probably find it at a lower price. This is a blend of grapes primarily from San Luis Obispo and Sonoma counties. - HK 2015-04-18
