Serious Pinot, though my feeling is it's a bit pricey at $50 retail. Healthy ruby color, classic earthy Pinot flavors - earthy cherry, plum, currants - with a nice touch of sweet spices. Nicely balanced, but it seems quite unevolved at this young age. May well blossom and develop some perfume in a year or two, in which case this rating will be stingy. Landmark has developed some wonderful grape sources in the Sonoma Coast AVA bordering (or in) the Los Carneros region. - HK 2015-10-11
