In 2007 the Damaris Reserve blend was predominantly (89%)from the Sangiacomo vineyard in Carneros, with the remainder from the Lorenzo vineyard in the Russian River. This is a beautifully proportioned and satisfying Chardonnay, long in the mouth and finish. Classic scents and flavors of peach and pear fruit, nutmeg spiciness, roasted cashews, lees, and butter. Nice sense of crispness and precision. Pricey but excellent. - HK 2010-08-05
