From a well-regarded vineyard south of Sebastopol, this is a straight-ahead Pinot without a lot of energy or focus. Nice earthy nose of maraschino cherry and wood resin, but bland and washed-out by comparison in the mouth. Certainly drinkable and pleasant in a generic sort of way, but you can do a lot better in this price range. - HK 2015-03-27
