Unbelievably good buy in Zin that's produced in huge quantities and is widely available - no small trick, and a tribute to the wine-producing skills of this winery. I haven't had this wine in years, and I now regret what I've been missing. Liqueur-like density to the ripe plum and dark berry fruit. Good dose of spiciness. Rich, very slightly sweet feeling, but not overblown in the mouth; really quite a classic Zin with good balance and depth. Certainly not a wine to age, but who cares? I paid less for this wine in 2016 than I did for this same label 10+ year ago! Really happy with this one. - HK 2016-10-11
