One of our favorite white wines. Lovely light golden color. Beautifully balanced wine with delicious ripe fruit notes. Aromas of spicy peaches and apriocots leap from the glass, almost like a full-bodied Alsatian Pinot Blanc, and these notes come through in the flavor and lingering finish also. The wine is bone dry, has great precision and delineation in its components, and is a superb food wine. In our view, significantly better than the '99, and may still be available at some stores. - HK 2000-12-23
