Good bang for the buck with this serious Spanish red. Still tightly wound, but with excellent balance and classy currant/cherry flavors. Will improve with a little age -- amazing for a wine of this price -- though it's plenty tasty right now. I'd be interested in what grapes are in this wine since it is so far from being a cheap, easy-going red. - HK 2004-11-12
