One of my favorite whites yet from Old World. This is an unusual Sauvignon Blanc, with some similarities to an excellent Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. Lovely, pure, complex nose with ever-changing hints of grapefruit skin, honey, peach, lemon, toast, and fresh cut rose blossoms. Clean and refreshing on the palate, untiring to drink. I'd opt to consume this one in its youth. [Price estimated.] Note: you have to look on the back label to identify some of the latest Old World wines, which are identified on the front label only by the bottling number. - HK 2013-03-13
