An impressive bargain at $6.99, though to my taste it does not merit the astonomical 90 point scores I've seen in some reviews. Impressive deep ruby red color. Tarry cherry and tart plum fruit, good balance and grip. I've been drinking this wine for close to three years and have rated it a little higher in some past tastings; it's possible it's reaching the end of its quality peak. - HK 2008-04-29
