Our experience with Condrieu is limited, but this wine proved more of a puzzle to us than expected. Delicate, austere, bone-dry wine with a predominantly floral (mainly lilac) nose and flavors. Cleanly nuanced with some herbal and even grassy notes in the finish. Certainly a pleasant and interesting wine, but one with a disappointingly low intensity level for a wine of this price. - HK, GK 2001-05-02
