Astonishingly good Zin for the price. Maybe the best Zin value out there, though it would get a run for its money from the Rancho Zabaco Heritage Vines. Rich berry fruit with a vanilla undertone, classy mouth feel, good fruit/acid balance and finish. Rancho Zabaco's more expensive single-vineyard wines are perhaps a little bigger, but in no way blow this one away. - WB Team 2002-10-04
