Geyserville is a wine we hold dear in our hearts, but this old wine was unfortunately well past its prime. The wine had a transparent ruby color with some amber at the edge. An unpleasant funky nuance in the aroma evaporated after a few minutes, but it left a wine whose wet earth, tea-like components dominated the sweet cranberry fruit. - WB Team 2002-05-11
