The Geyserville is consistently one of Ridge's best Zinfandels. The 1997 is no exception, with intense inky black cherry, peppery tones and a smooth glycerine-like body One of the longest, most intense finishes I can remember. Dubbed the "essence of life" by one WineBork. I just hope I can find some more. (MJA) - WB Team 2000-07-03
