Extremely rich, almost syrupy in texture. Perhaps edging past its prime - the acid spark isn't quite there in full to counterbalance the richness. Dominated by honeyed Botrytis notes, with aromas and flavors of creme brulee, butter, burnt sugar, caramel. Less multi-dimensional, I'm sure, that it was 10 years ago, but still an absolutely rich, flavorful, satisfyingly decadent dessert wine. - HK 2006-06-30
