Light ruby in color, this soft, harmonious Pinot Noir has the feel and structure of a medium-range village Burgundy from the Cote de Beaune. Dark cherry, charcoal, and subdued cola notes are found in both aromas and flavors, along with a subtle floral component. Not especially complex or long, but round and pleasant to drink, varietally right-on, and very well-priced. Would be a great restaurant wine. - HK 2009-10-05
