Brilliant, gem-quality deep purple color. (Even the bubbles in the glass are purple!). Rich, youthful, wonderfully extracted Petite Sirah that still has plenty of room to develop. The nose and flavors are like black pepper, dried flowers, and super-ripe black raspberries thrown together in a blender. Earthy, viscous, and full-bodied but still graceful on its feet. Splendid wine. - WB Team 2003-04-08
