| 2004 Rosenblum Syrah Abba Vineyard|
WB Rating: 88
Alcohol by volume: 16.5%
Price at time of purchase: $20.00 (from winery)
Principal varietal(s): Syrah
The 2004 Abba, like its predecessors, is opaque black-purple in color and has the usual super-ripe feel to it. Straightforward but in-your-face core of licorice, dark berries, raisins, roasted meat. The alcohol, though high, is not overbearing because of the wine's richness. Round, pleasant, slightly chalky tannins. - WB Team 2007-01-26
