I've drunk several bottles of this Zinfandel over the years, and it's never shown any better than in the most recent tasting. (Incidentally, this wine has a screw top, so its total freshness at age 7 is another solid data point for the ageability of screw top bottles.) Deep purple in color. Soft and smooth with an expressive mix of cherry, ripe plum, and dark currant fruit touched nicely with spicy oak. Silky smooth, round and moderately full in the mouth. Struck me as much more harmonious and higher quality than the similarly-priced Stryker "Oz" Zin. - HK 2014-07-25
