Sweet wines don't get much better than this. Deep golden color. Expansive nose with an avalanche of flavors to follow - saffron, honey/botrytis, nutmeg, cinammon, and a complex liqueur-like blend of intense fruits including apricot and pineapple. Despite the intensity, the acid balance keeps this unctuous and complex wine from being remotely cloying. A truly memorable dessert wine. - HK, GK 2008-01-03
