Very deeply colored, and unsually rich and full in the mouth for Bordeaux of this classification. Wonderful grip in the mouth with a good fruit/acid/tannin balance. Potent flavors suggest dark currents, plums, macerated cherries, roasted herbs. Underlying earthy core that borders on funky - but stays safely inside the comfort zone. - HK 2021-06-18
