This wine is extremely tannic at this stage, but has the poop to make us believe it's going to be much better in the future. Deeply colored, with a full and pleasing cassis-tinged nose and fairly rich flavors of dark currants and berries. Dry tannns in the finish at this point, but not bitter. Will probably be a couple of points better in a five years. - WB Team 2002-04-12
