At this stage the 2000 Artadi Rioja strikes me as more classically structured, richer, and more flavorful than the 1999, though both are excellent. Like the 1999, a distinctly Bordeaux-like structure and texture to this wine. Nose and flavors of red currants, plum, smoke, and tar. Excellent balance and finish.
