Plummy, dark-cherry attack, morphing quickly to an inky, almost dusty mid-range and finish. Very good length. Not really fruity, as one expects in Sonoma zins, but somewhat more austere and dry. A welcome twist on the zin spectrum, and a definite winner, especially at this great price.
