1998 Clear Lake Zinfandel

Appellation: Clear Lake, California

Drinkable now, but this one might benefit from some cellaring. At this stage, it is sharp on the palate and rather short. Good color and depth hint that subtle flavors may emerge eventually. For my money, I find the Beringer 2000 California Zin just as plesant, at less than half the price.
