According to the label, this wine was fermented in French Nevers oak and aged sur lie for 9 months. You certainly can't miss the oak in this wine since that is its dominant characteristic from start to finish. But still, impeccably made and balanced wine with a rich, almost oily mouth feel, and spicy butterscotch and almond flavors.
