Yves Boyer-Martenot
2005 Meursault "Le Tillets"

Appellation: Meursault, Burgandy, France

Review Date : 2010-02-19

Winebork Rating = 88

Tasting Notes

This excellent Chardonnay displays a complex nose of ripe peaches, pears, lemon oil, roasted nuts, and a major dose of cinammon/nutmeg spice. Full mouth feel with good balancing acidity to keep its energy level high. Very good, though didn't strike me as having the depth and complexity of some other Boyer-Martinot whites I've had in the past. [Purchased during an excellent sale at Premier Cru; normal cost would be much higher.]
