Chateau Branaire Ducru
1989

Appellation: Saint Julien, Bordeaux, France

Review Date : 2010-01-04

Winebork Rating = 89

Tasting Notes

Still showing a youthful feel at age 20. Somewhat austere in the mouth, firm and structured, especially when tasted next to a jammy '89 Montrose. Restrained currant and cedar fragrance, flavorful but a bit dry in the mouth and finish. Excellent balance and classy feel, but not in a generous style.
