Winebork Rating = 86 |
Piercing nose of sweet cherry and plums with some earthiness and a rose petal component. Hides its alcohol, as do many Mendocino reds, behind a soft and pleasing texture. Rich in the mouth, but without the complexity of a higher-level Pinot. Very drinkable at this stage, with no rough edges. Fairly priced for the quality.
