Only 75 cases of this interesting, though somewhat pricey, Pinot Noir were made from a small vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This wine has some Burgundian feel to it with bright cherry and strawberry flavors well delineated by the fruit/acid balance. A somewhat unusual woody or chemical nuance in the finish detracted a bit from the final score. We'd like to try some other vintages from this small producer.
