Preston of Dry Creek
2008 Sauvignon Blanc

Appellation: Dry Creek, Sonoma, California

Review Date : 2010-02-02

Winebork Rating = 89

Tasting Notes

This excellent Sauvignon Blanc has the edge in richness and depth over most of its California competitors, without sacrificing anything in terms of crispness and freshness. Unapologetic, assertive Sauvignon Blanc with smokey, tangy herb-tinged honeydew, grapefruit and tart fig flavors, excellent ripe mouth feel, crisp texture, and clean finish. Fairly priced - if this wine were in the $15 range it would be a case-worthy steal.
