2000 Macon-Bussieres Le Clos

Appellation: Macon Bussieres, Burgandy, France

There is a Chablis-like feel to this delicious Chardonnay. Ripe, forward nose of white flowers, peaches, and minerals along with nutmeg/cinnamon spice. Medium-body, fairly long flavors with spicy white fruits and a chalk-like mineral flavor. We've worked our way through a case of this wine over the past 5 years or so; it's never tasted better.
