Deloach has always made delicious, approachable, balanced, uncomplicated Chardonnays, and this is no exception. Full-flavored but not overdone Chardonnay that has nutmeg-infused peaches, buttered apples, and butterscotch components. Pure, excellent Chardonnay, but without the layers and complexity of the ones we'd rate a few points higher. - HK 2001-07-28
