A tasty Pinot, but definitely not in the class of the '05 or '07. The 2008 Sanchietti shows attractive notes of red raspberry and blueberry fruit along with hints of cola, flowers, black pepper, and wood. Drier, coarser, and less voluptuous than my favorite D-G Pinot's, but then that's putting it against some very stiff competition. - HK 2012-11-22
